About

If a young person in your life is struggling in traditional school or has been held back by challenges like anxiety, ADHD, poor attendance or other barriers to learning, there may soon be a better option.

Join us for a Lunch and learn with The BUSY Group, a trusted education and employment provider with over 45 years of experience supporting young people through innovative, tailored learning pathways. Based in Australia, The BUSY Group specializes in helping students and job seekers overcome personal and systemic challenges to build real-world skills and meaningful careers.

They’re now working to bring The BUSY School to Calgary in 2026, an inclusive, full-time high school designed for students who are at risk of falling through the cracks.

During this session, you’ll learn:

  • Who The BUSY Group is and why they’ve chosen Calgary
  • The BUSY School philosophy and how it supports students differently
  • How they reimagine education through personalized environments, flexible timetables, and tailored curriculum
  • What makes their model different: from smaller class sizes and personalized learning plans to caring staff, practical curriculum and well-being focused spaces
  • How you can be part of shaping this opportunity for Calgary youth

This is more than just an info session, it’s a chance to voice your needs and help bring an inclusive, supportive education model to life in our city.

Seats are limited. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect and contribute to a bold new vision for youth education in our city. A light lunch will be provided.

We want to hear from you.
This is your chance to explore a new path forward for your teen and share your feedback. If you believe a school like this could be right for your young person, your voice is essential.
