About

Canada is entering a pivotal moment for nation-building, with renewed focus on advancing major projects – from energy and critical minerals to infrastructure and trade corridors. At the centre of this shift are Indigenous communities, increasingly participating not only through consultation, but as equity partners, rights holders and project leaders.

This forum will explore how Indigenous equity participation is reshaping project development, alongside the broader conditions for success, including procurement, access to capital, workforce development and evolving approaches to land use and stewardship. As recent national conversations highlight both the urgency and complexity of getting projects built, this discussion will focus on what it takes to move forward in a way that is competitive, inclusive, and grounded in meaningful partnership. Join us for a forward-looking conversation on building major projects – and building Canada – together.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. Please contact sponsorships@calgarychamber.com for more information.
